What is WIC?
WIC is a nutrition education program. WIC provides nutritious foods that promote good health for pregnant women, women who just had a baby, breastfeeding moms, infants, and children up to age 5.
Who is eligible for WIC?
- Pregnant Women
- Breastfeeding Women (up to 1 year)
- Postpartum Women (up to 6 months)
- Infants
- Children Under 5
To qualify for services you must:
- Live in Ohio
- Meet WIC Income Guidelines
- Have certain nutritional or health risks
What does WIC provide?
- Nutrition education and support
- Breastfeeding education and support
- Referral for health care
- Immunization screening and referral
- Supplemental foods such as:
- Cereal
- Eggs
- Milk
- Whole-grain foods
- Fruits and vegetables
- Infant Formula

USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to
USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone
number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient
detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature
and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or
letter must be submitted to USDA by:
